Schools and communities take a proactive and protective role in engaging children to stay away from drugs, alcohol, or other dangerous behaviors (Griffin & Botvin, 2016).Adolescent alcohol abuse is a very dangerous thing. When a teenager engages in such behavior, this can and will most likely lead to problems in their future such as addiction to other substances as well as problems that may arise from lowered inhibitions. Through the
ADOLESCENT ALCOHOLISM6identification, confronting, and treatment of this problem, our children have a better chance at overcoming this disease and preventing the negative impact it will have later in life.References
