Numerous people say that they want to be an organ donor but never really get around to signing the forms; only 1 out of 4 people that want to donate will ever get around to registering too become an actual donor (Brody). Most people just put it off and then never get around to it, it takes just a few briefs moments to register and you will help such a large amount of people in the future. B.4. Another problem is that many people don’t want to donate their organs because they are their organs; which are understandable, it is your body and you can do what you want with it, but with that being said, if you have passed away, you no longer need your organs, so why not donate them and help a few lives? What is that were you in the hospital being told over and over that there still isn’t a heart, lung, liver or kidney for you. Put yourself in their shoes; I’m sure you will quickly change your mind about how you feel about donating your organs to a total stranger. Transition: Now that we have taken a closer look at the problem at hand, I have a few solutions to suggest. C. We should start by all donating our organs and encouraging family members and friends to think about donating their organs as well. C.1. According to the New York Times, In Europe everyone is seen as a potential organ donor unless you expressly declare that you do not want to be one, 90% of people or organ donors, therefore they do not have as much of a problem when it comes to lack of organ transplants. I believe that the U.S. should think about adopting this law because many people don’t have a problem with donating their organs but they just never get
