opinion to write on the paper. Firstly, I planned to split my research paper into 3 parts equally, but it was denied by Sarah. She said as a reading, what she mostly interested was my opinion. She really did not want to read much about history. Then I changed my frame, but Sarah reminded me that she could not feel the second part, which focused on the Roe case, related to my whole topic. She suggested me to either delete or reorganize it. So I rewrote them, rebuilding the connection between the first and third part. The APA is also a fire-new thing for me. Luisa and one of the director in the Writing Center gave me a lot of hands. They show me the standard format and how to use them in article. But I do not know how the Writing Center can help me about the research paper except
grammar. Every time I took my research paper to the Writing Center, they just checked my grammar for one hour. I feel confusing about this. Note-taking and Summaries I do not like the Note-taking skills, I feel that when I read an article, it is better for me to mark some notes on the paper. Taking a note could not help me to understand deeply about the passage but waste of time. It can clearly show me what I was really feeling when I read here. And the summary can help my understanding in a certain extent, like to help me to memorize the main point of this article. However, I think the summary is something to help other readers before reading.
