As automation saves time, this study will improve quality, speed and precision of a medical process. This study will greatly benefit the biomedical industry as this will lessen the inconvenience brought by conventional method of measurement of urine and this will speed up getting the results. Also, there will be faster conclusion on patient’s condition due to the database provided by the system. Hospitals, as they could accommodate more patient that needs close attention and gain a reputation of having a well-equipped and automated services; and more importantly, patients could recover faster and improve the outcomes of their medication through the use of automated system. The proposed study is applicable to in-hospital-care of post-operated patients that needs particular attention on monitoring their urine as one of the basis for their recovery. This system will also be capable of keeping laboratory test results such as the variables mentioned, which can be accessed anytime through a smartphone with installed application. However, the system will not provide a real-time results. In case of unavailability of a smartphone, the data can be readily accessed through the SD card inserted in the system. Moreover, critical illnesses that needs bladder training is not covered in the testing due to different methodology and requirements for such case. Also, the method of draining of urine from the bag is not included in this study. More importantly, since the device is attached on the tube near the discharge bag, patient’s condition is not affected and the device will not
