2. Steam at least 5 times a day preferably with camphor using a small facial steamer this helps with breathing and moisturising the throat and nose. 3. Do throat gargles with haldi & Himalayan pink salt. add a touch of Manuka honey to help soothe the dry throat. Do this 3 to 4 times per day. 4. Drink hot drinks in all forms as much as possible. Hot water with honey, tea, any herbal teas and clear soups etc. Another great hot drink to have is onion water - Boil 1/4 onion with 2 garlic cloves, a small piece of ginger add some Himalayan salt to taste. Drink as soon as it is made while hot. 5. Once a day have a spoonful of Manuka honey (70 potency) with approximately half a teaspoon of kalonji seeds also known as black onion seeds or nigella seeds. 5. A small tip, if your mouth gets too dry make some cold jelly and have it in small quantities as needed. You will not feel like doing all these things but be persistent as they all help you stay home! These remedies are tried and tested by me and trust me they helped. I would advise once you realise or suspect having the virus try and get tested - there are some people doing this privately and come to your home.
