Moreover, commercial banks, financial management and retail banking have worked together and have generated a profit before tax for HSBC in Vietnam was approximately VND 2,322 billion and It increased to 23.93% compared to 2016 (Financial statement of Vietnam,2017). The total assets of Vietinbank also increased but not significantly. According to Vietinbank's annual report for 2017, the total assets of Vietinbank increased from VND 948,568 billion to VND 1,095,061 and the profit before tax aslo was the same, it increased from VND 8,454 billion to VND 9,206 billion between 2016 and 2017. HSBC provide and serve customers through four global business including Retail Banking and Wealth Management, Commercial Banking, Global Banking and Markets, and Global Private Banking. Unlike Vietinbank, their main business activities are banking transactions, financial and insurance and deals namely mobilizing, taking and making by term (Vietinbank,2018). For HSBC, there are three key elements of sustainable financial that help to sustainable growth. The first key element is sustainable finance. HSBC aspires to be a leading global partner in the transition to a low-carbon future and they pledged to improving the efficiency of their operation. By 2030, they will be use 100 percent of their electricity from renewable. The second key element is sustainable networks and entrepreneurship. HSBC corporate partner and non- governmental organization to support business practice with the purpose is to protect the environment and human rights as well as helping new companies emerge and grow. The last key element is future skills. Nowadays, workplace skill and financial literacy are very important. HSBC always support customer communities and include employees to develop the financial capability and employability skills they need to succeed in the global economy. Their sustainability plans have specific and long-term plans. In contrast, Vietinbank also has goals like Vietinbank but they do not have a specific plan for those goals. very good. VietinBank not only pursues effective business goals and profit growth, but also aims to develop the country's socio-economic development. In addition, VietinBank will improve its financial capacity, people and technology to meet the sustainable development goals of the bank as well as the whole society (Vietinbank, 2018).
