they will find a way to catch up to you; most times with death or humiliation. As invasive as necessities can be there is also something to be said about them as well. In a world where everything is a disposable necessity is the one thing, you can count on to always be there. Necessity will never go away. It will always be there telling you when to sleep or when to eat. The closer we get with our necessities the sooner we can live in unison with them. Every day we go through a cycle of necessities so if we are able to map and plan them it will ultimately save time and energy. In the article, I believe what she is trying to say is so many times we get so caught up in the world that we forget what we need. We get lost in numbers and money until there is nothing left sometimes. Sometimes we need to restart or slow down and cling to something. That something is a necessity; the only thing that will always be there. The author wants us to grasp that and never let it go. She wants us to come down to earth a little and realize it’s not always about the glitter and gold; to forget all of the facades and just live in the moment. I believe the author was feeling as though she didn’t have much control of her own life and the only thing to turn to was simplicity in necessity.
