Instead of having the stress of an officeenvironment, employees may find their home environment more conducive to effective efforts.Also, there is time saved in commuting, traveling and lunch breaks in an off-site environment,rather than working remotely in an accessible place.Talent ManagementOne challenge in talent management that Twitter will have to take on is the perception ofworking from home for employees. In a recent study conducted on Twitter, the pandemic’sbusiness effects were measured and the attitude of the workforce was surveyed to see how peoplewere perceiving working from home. The study’s results revealed that workers were feelingeither happy that they got to work from home or hopeless that the unknown of their career was soterrifying (Dubey &Tripathi, 2020). Happiness versus hopelessness are two very polar oppositereactions. Therefore, it is telling that either employees are content with the working conditions orthey crave structure. Structure must be implemented by Twitter to make sure that employees areaware of goals, expectations and task potentials. By the CEO stating that working from homewould be up in the air indefinitely, it could have a reverse reaction on some employees that needmore direction and concrete guidance.
