stronger than that of relationships that happen in real life because it is easier to gain trust, have human connection, and communicate virtually. However, it is also easier to “unfriend” someone virtually than in person. However,“Facebook may simply prolong superficial connections that would have natural dissipated otherwise” (Urist, 2015), these social networking sites do not show us the true side of a person and so it is easier to maintain a relationship virtually. Yes, social networking websites have helped us keep in touch with friends and family who are distant from us. Yes, it gives us the opportunity to enhance our lives in the sense that we can use websites such as LinkedIn to interact with other people around the country or within our location for a better job or to expand our skills in various ways. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
