Cont . 2. Systematic random sampling It is the arranging of target population according to some ordering scheme and then selecting elements at regular intervals through that ordered list. Systematic sampling involves a random start and then procee ds with the selection of every element from then onwards. for ex. we select one # of the first ten, then the same value from the 2 nd ten until the completion of the units of society It is used when there is no accurate and comprehensive info. A systematic random sample is more accurate than the random sample, as we divide society into classes and select a sample from each layer. The main drawback of systematic random sampling that it is not suitable in case of a regular relationship between the society .
Cont . 3. Stratified sampling As the accuracy of result depends on the size of the sample and the variation or lack of the society, Each strata is then sampled as an independent sub-population , out of which individual elements can be randomly selected.
