heating blocks surrounding the vial. The vial was heated for 10 min at 60°-70°C. During this time, the apparatus for vacuum filtration was setup (the filter was wetted with DI water). A reflux began to form on the bottom of the condenser at the end of the 10 min. The vial was then heated at 80°-90°C for 5 min. The vial was removed from the block and cooled for 5 min. In a 25 mL beaker, 12-15 mL of ice water was made. The contents of the vial was poured into the ice water beaker. A “slushie” of opaque, pale yellow color formed. The mixture was stirred until all ice melted. The mixture was then vacuum filtered for 5-10 min (with occasional stirring of the solid accumulating at the top). An empty 4-mL screw-cap vial was massed and recorded. The solid was transferred into the massed vial with a spatula. The vial with the solid was then massed to determine the mass of the solid. The solid was then characterized by IR spectroscopy, NMR spectroscopy, and melting point determination. Succinctly describe the exact procedures followed. Use the passive voice in the past tense. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
