You will also find the exam grades and other pertinent
material.

Grades
ATTENDANCE- 10%
HOMEWORK/ ASSIGNMENTS- 20%
MIDTERM EXAM (Oct 25th)- 20%
PROPOSAL (Dec 6th)- 20%
FINAL EXAM (Dec 13th)- 30%

Attendance
Students are expected to attend all classes. Students who are
unable to attend class must seek permission for an excused
absence from the course director. Unapproved absences or
late attendance may result in a lower grade or an
“incomplete” for the course. If a student has to miss a class,
he or she should arrange to get notes from a fellow student.

Homework/Assignments
There will be several, short answer assignments for
homework and the lab session.
These will be found on the course website and will be due the
next week.
Late assignments will not be accepted. If there is an
emergency, please let me know before the due date.

Midterm/ Final
There will be an in-class midterm exam at the end of the 4th
week
