and maybe even return nature to its former glory. Humanity’s progress may be slow, but it is at least a step in the right direction. It will most likely take many years for environmentally sustainable practices to become the status quo, but I believe that eventually the next generation’s forward thinking can prevent an environmental catastrophe. Our innovations could possibly reset us at stage one of the Life Cycle of Civilizations instead of our current slip towards breakdown. Global acceptance of the ideas of Ecologism could launch us into a new period of sustainability, where our innovations will benefit both our species and the rest of the planet.
