BSBMGT616 Develop and implement strategic plansASSESSMENTThere are three (3) assessments for this unit:1. Written QuestionsFor this assessment, you are to read the questions and respond in writing with the most suitable answer. There are seven (7) questions, all of which must be completed. Most questions require short answers although some questions require a more detailed response. You may use various sources of information including workbooks, internet and other documents, but must list and reference their sources. Your assessor will advise you when this is due.2. ProjectFor this assessment you are to complete a project using information provided in a case study. The case study includes scenarios related to a fictional organisation Coffeecom and other fictional organisations involved in the development and implementation of Coffeecom’s strategic plan.During this project, you will complete activities from the perspective of the General Manager who isresponsible for all stages of the development and implementation of the strategic plan. The project involves interactions with other employees at Coffeecom and you will need to coordinate with your assessor and other students or members of the George Brown College Student Services Team to assist you with these tasks. Your assessor will schedule time for this to occur.There are four (4)parts in this assessment. You must complete them all.Part A: - you are required to analyse Coffeecom’s existing vision, mission and values and develop new strategic objectives based on the organisation’s current needs. Part B: - you are required to use various analytical tools to gather and assess information about Coffeecom s current performance and potential cooperative ventures that would support the company’s new strategic plan. Part C: - you are required to develop Coffeecom’s strategic plan using feedback from various stakeholders. Part D: - you are required to communicate the strategic plan to key stakeholders, analyse the effectiveness of your strategic planning process and evaluate the achievement of strategic objectives. 3. Practical DemonstrationThere is one (1)task to complete for this assessment. You are required to role play using a provided case study scenario in which you use effective oral communication skills to present the strategic plan you have developed and implemented in previous assessment tasks, to two (2) stakeholders in the business. Your assessor will advise when this role play is due.
