Characters/Figures Tuan Haji Zakaria Bin Arshad is the founder of Perniagaan Mudim Zakaria (MUDIM), also known as Mudim Zakaria. Starting with traditional medicines business on a small scale in the village, the company progressed with the tireless efforts attitude. Later in 1987, he managed to increase its product line to become a soy sauce and chili sauce manufacturer. The development and progress of MUDIM also assisted by his son, Shaarani Bin Zakaria who is now entrusted to take over management of the company. In the early 20s, his son, Mr. Shaarani has entered the business with his guidance. After seeing the confidence and determination of his son on the production of soy sauce and sauce for the company, he gave him encouragement and full support to develop the company. To strengthen himself in the business world, he was committed to attend various courses organized by various agencies such as MARDI, MARA, MADA, FAMA and SIRIM. Consequently, demand for products MUDIM was growing. Requests to MUDIM product not only of the local market but also in overseas markets as well. This proves Mr. Shaarani has positioned the brand ‘MUDIM’ in the global market. MUDIM choose Nasir Bilal Khan, an actor as their main character for advertising. He was involved in the iklan of MUDIM which could be found at TV3 and TV9 in the year of 2012.

The television advertisement was made in Kedah since there w a lot of paddy field. The advertisement also shows the value of a lovely family. They were eating together and have delicious food with MUDIM’s soy sauce. Images In Malaysia, Mudim refers to the title given to the person managing circumcision circumcisions for boys in Islam. This is because the circumcision (removing the excess skin on the male genitals) is compulsory in Islam. Today the modern Muslim community in many places asks for circumcision is carried out by a qualified doctor or physician. MUDIM took this opportunity to include the sense of humour of Tok Mudim and the children who wants to get in their advertisement.
