The second source I found, also from the UNH Library database, is titled, “Comparing the Politics of Hydraulic Fracturing in New York, Colorado, and Texas”. The article essentially describes differences between policy in Colorado, New York, and Texas in regards to fracking. The authors, Tanya Heikkila and Christopher Weible, provide insight and help educate the reader on how different locations in the United States can differ drastically when it comes to political policy. From the start, the source is reliable, as it was published in the Review of Policy Research. The main goal of the article is to analyze and elaborate on the perceptions and actions of policy makers and other people actively involved in the politics of hydraulic fracking in the three states. The data used in the article is recent, from 2013 to 2014. They also discuss their results and analyze differences and similarities they find. Again, the main stakeholders affected would be the citizens who have the power to elect political officials who have energy policies they side with. This article does a great job of
