Public Private Partnership will take up Rs 27000 crore of the expenditure. 5. 1000 km of new lines and gauge conversion of 1000 km. Railways will acquire 573 electric and 290 diesel locomotives and 5160 coaches. Elimination of 4267 unmanned level crossings, Redevelopment of 600 major railway stations, escalators for stations with more than 25000 footfalls and Wifi and CCTVs for all stations and trains. Expenditure on safety related works and track renewals would be Rs 73000 crore. 6. Ministry is working on scheme to allow private operators to set up their own rail lines and run trains. 7. FY 19 targeted operating ratio of 92.8% in FY 19 and 85% aimed by 2022 which is 96% in FY 18. 8. A new railway university will be set up at Vadodara to impart knowledge about bullet train technology. Passenger traffic has shown CAGR of -0.26% between 2012 and 2017, the average travel Km has increased with CAGR of 2.17%. Passenger earnings has grown at CAGR of 10.38% between 2012- 2017. EMPLOYMENT

Mudra scheme for financing small and medium industries sanctioned 10.38 crore loans totalling 4.6 lakh crore loans since its launch in 2015. The target under scheme is Rs 3 lakh crore for FY 19. 4. National Health Insurance Scheme allocated Rs 2000 crore 3. Rashtriya Swasthya Bima Yojana (RSBY) has been allocated Rs 2000 cror in FY 19 from Rs 470.52 crore in FY 18. RSBY provides Rs 30000 cover forup to five members of a below poverty line (BPL) family. Centre provides 75% of the total premium while States pay the rest. Around 36 million of 59 million BPL families across 15 states are enrolled in the scheme.
