Diversity strengthens the organization’s foundation. Having the various groups of people brings about diverse ideas, strategies, and concepts. To ensure that the mission does not get lost, the leaders should be trained to lead the various types of people to achieve the single goal. All supervisory employees,DHCD, are required to take on-line training courses regarding ethics and diversity. As a weakness, employees take these courses only once during their tenure at DHCD. As programs become available we encourage or even mandate supervisors attend, explained by T.
