freedom to take care of their family responsibilities. Allow them to feel that the company is the extension of their home. As Art Rainer ones said, Leaders are stewards of people. Other selfish leaders hoard information. Instead, give knowledge. Don't withhold information that you feel is pertinent to team members' success. Some leaders like to hoard knowledge because it makes them feel powerful. This is ridiculous. As a true leader, you have to provide your team with enough and relevant information so that they will use this to make economic decisions vital for your organization's success. In a few organizations, leaders isolate themselves from their team. Instead, give time. Make sure your office door is open more than it is closed. In this way, you can establish a good rapport, open communication with significant people around you. Also, another selfish leader withholds gratitude. Instead, give appreciation. It is important to always say a little "thank you" to the job well done of your team. This makes them feel that they are well-loved and their effort to the company is well-appreciated by the people above. This motivates them to be honest and loyal to the company. Thus, I strive to be a generous leader. Leaders are again stewards of people. Give yourself to them, and they will give themselves to you. As a student of doctoral studies and based on my current state of knowledge on the philosophical foundation of leadership, my philosophy of leadership is that “Leaders are frontliners of duty” . They are called to be a leader because of the need to serve others first. A leader serves as an image of goodness wherein trust and confidence are always intact, no matter what. The Great Man Theory is believed to be correct that humans are naturally born as a leader, however, a man can only be termed as a leader if he deserves the slot, the position, the power, the authority and the named entrusted to him by the people around him. He is a true leader if he embodies the true quality of service – not for himself but the people around him. The same with what Mohandas Gandhi had said, "Find yourself in the service of others". I believe that a great, true and successful leader is a servant leader. So, what is a servant leader? Robert Greenleaf was the founder of the modern servant leadership movement, and he said it best: "It begins with the natural feeling that one wants to serve first. Then conscious choice brings one to aspire to lead. That person is vastly different from one who wants to lead first, perhaps because of the need to assuage a desire for power or acquire material possessions." In Mike Esposito blog entitled, “Are You a Servant Leader or a Selfish Leader”, he listed down companies that practice servant leadership like Southwest Airlines, Starbucks, Zappos, SAS, REI, Quiktrip and many other organizations based on Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For" list. It is therefore understood that companies can do it big provided it is managed, led by a servant leader. Even if we view it at home, our attitude and behaviors are influenced by how we raised by our parents or guardians. In school, students are well-mannered and well-educated if taught by noble teachers. In our community, we
