The most effective solution for addressing the psychological needs of Black communitiesof the present moment is the radical schools but we also need the reformist school. The reformist school will help us in calling out the public policing system on issues that are currently affecting the black community. These include things like police brutality, institutionalized racism and white supremacy. In this, we’re able to break down the issues or legacies of slavery in America and the current black communities. There have been issues on police killing black people and incriminating Blake people as a threat to others. These issues have been on for the longest time but we need to break them down. Reformist schools do this and therefore we need them. On the other hand, radical schools are required to understand the roots of black people. In this, without being biased with the European history, we need to teach black students their roots in accordance with African history. With that, they are able to learn without a European model which has omitted a lot of African achievementsand history and has only portrayed its own success. So in my opinion, I think we need both reformist and radical schools.
