their technicians were busy assembling new cars and therefore they did not have time to repair salvaged cars. They have also proposed to expand their yard to accommodate new stock of cars. My company is not able to meet deadline for transportation of parcel to all the destinations due to shortage of cars. Solution I will tow the car to my compound where I will fit it with a new bonnet, radiator, front headlights, airbags, front bumper and the left side mirror to pass the inspection for use in the United States of America roads. The required spare parts are available and are sold in most of the automotive retail shops in my neighborhood. The bonnet is sold at $500, radiator at $100, front headlights at $ 50, airbags at $120, front bumper at $170 and side mirror at $ 25. I will also repaint the new bonnet to match the color of the car at a cost of $80. Benefits My intervention to repair the car will be the best option because of the following reasons. 1. I will cater for the cost of towing the car from the general motors yard to my compound where it will be repaired. 2. I will outsource and fit the required spare parts because I am an experience automotive engineer. I will then take it for inspection after repair to comply with the law. 3. I will also repaint the new bonnet to match the colour of the car in less than 1 week. 4. I will then pay for a comprehensive cover for all my vehicles with your insurance company. Purpose This is a proposal to request your company to release my salvaged car for repair. It was involved in an accident with a trailer while on its way to deliver parcels to Burnsville city.
