by suggesting the shape of two diagonals allowing the bridge to span upwards. During construction, I cut the members to precise shape, and glued members together. However, more often I was calculating forces and did the final check to ensure our bridge was determinant by performing methods of joints to ensure we could calculate all reactions. For the report, we split it up into even work load. I did the cover page, overview, summary and edited each group members report in order to collate it. After the completion of this project the personal skills I have learnt include time management, ensuring I am being a team player and dedication to working in the team being able to make time and accommodate others. In terms of engineering skills, this project helped me to practise what I had learnt in class including analysing and performing calculations for each member. 10.3 Tom Andrews (ID: 28744012)- My role was to digitally draw up designs we had created as a team, and to also explain and annotate those designs. I likewise stated the assumptions we had when initially creating those designs. 10.4 Robert Vella (ID: 28744012) The contribution of the group was well rounded. My main efforts was helping in constructing the bridge both inside and outside practical classes. The group also divided the work in the pracs well, with me primarily having the duties to gather data while others take note. In terms of the final design of the bridge, all members brought their ideas to the table and we mutually agreed on a design that works best. I was also assigned the tasks of the introduction, the discussion and the conclusion of the report. Throughout this project I have been able to apply the theoretical knowledge gathered in classes to a real life situation which greatly helps to understand the key concepts taught in lectures. It has also taught valuable team and communication skills and time management 6

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
