The third example is the concept of man, other than Christians; the Hindus don’t believe that man was created in the Image and likeness of God. Instead they believe man is imprisoned into different bodies in every life time. They also differ in regards to being equal – men and woman. Hindus don’t ad value to woman as they do to men, Ian Benson (1998:21) . 4

The fourth example on which Christianity differs to Hinduism is salvation, we as Christians believe we ought to go to heaven when we die and stay there, while Hindus believe you go either to heaven or to hell for a certain time while you are punished or rewarded accordingly and then you are reincarnated into another body on earth, while God forgave me for ever, Ian Benson (1998:23) . The fifth example is scripture; the Hindus also have scriptures or ancient book called the Vedas. The Vedas is believed to hold all the things and inventions even in modern days that were already known in India. In regard to this view Christians believe that the Bible hold all the truth and explains God’s love and forgiveness to assure true salvation, Ian Benson (1998:17) . The last example is Christ - Hindus believe that Jesus was one of the incarnations (avatars) of God. “Whereas Christians generally believe that Jesus was the one and only incarnation of God, this view would hold that he was an incarnation, just not the only one.”, The Hindu view of Jesus (1999:n.p.) . I strongly feel that we as Christians should stop accepting the way Hindus claim to go to heaven, but start acting out of true love in correcting them. To show true l ove towards them; not recognizing the boundaries of caste or social station. Because the love of Christ is overwhelming something Hindus has never experienced or knew existed. I truly believe that when we bring the true love of Christ to a Hindu, that his heart will be touched through the understanding of the Holy Spirit. I would also strongly suggest ways of reaching the Hindus through practical ways of sharing the Gospel: Do’s Listen to Hindus as they explain their particular beliefs and practices, this will build trust as well as relationship and help you get an idea of their beliefs. 5

Politely share stories from the Bible that illustrate God's love and forgiveness, as they aren’t familiar with ultimate love and true forgiveness of which sins are taken away. Emphasize the exclusive forgiveness found in Jesus through faith, the option of only believing in Him and accepting Him into your life – to obtain salvation and total forgiveness. Be aware of Hindu misconceptions of Christianity, listen carefully to the way terms are explained and ask questions to make it clear what is believed about Christianity. Don’t‘s Ask which caste a Hindu belongs to, this will break down the trust and they may feel humiliated.
