1. The doer’s actions (Jess) were very welcoming and slow. She did not come off as overwhelmingly loud or upfront, which I think made the gesture much more pleasant for the recipient. The recipient seemed more willing to interact with the doer because of her kind demeanor. The doer approached with a smile on her face and took interest in how the recipient was doing/feeling. b. What did you note about recipient’s response?

Jess Means Jom5900 Diana Lowther djl58 1. The recipient seemed confused at first, but then proceeded to accept the gift once she realized it was for her. She seemed very appreciative of the gift, but as the doer walked away the recipient did not seem as enthusiastic. b. As the doer, I felt better about myself because I did something product and hopefully made someone else’s day better. Also, the recipient seemed happier and I noticed as I was leaving the commons later that evening she had been eating the cookie. c. Connect to the reading of the week (chapter 40).
