1- There are two errors in the first example. The first error, the translator translated ‘ought to be interested’ into ‘ هزيكرت بصي نأ رخآ صخش لكو كل دب لف ; so, I think it is better to translate ‘interested’ into ‘ متهم and it is more understandable ـ . The second error which is ‘riches’ translated into ‘ تاورث ’, because it refers to the material or moral thing and it also means an abundance of money or people so, it is better to translate it to ‘ ءارث ’. 2- In the second example, the error is that the translator translated the first sentence ‘You may as well know’ word for word and this error has changed the meaning of the sentence. The translator has translated ‘as well’ to ‘ كلذك ’, it is correct but it should not be translated ‘word for word’. The ST ‘You may as well know,’ looks like a piece of advice and the translator translated it into “ كلذك فرعت دق . The translator incorrectly translated “right here” into “ رضاحلا تقولا ىتح خيراتلا رجف نم ا ً ءدب ”. 3- In the third example, you could say “ ةديدج ًاراكفأ و ًاقرط ” rather than “, “ ميلعتلل ةديدج بيلاسأ و قيوستلاو قيوستلل ةديدج بيلاسأ و ميلعتلل ةديدج بيلاسأ ” you could also shorten the sentence “ ًابتكو ًاديدج ًابدأ و ةديدج ” by saying that “ ًاديدج ًابدأوًابتك ’. The translator mistranslated the last sentence ‘new features for television, new ideas for moving pictures’ translated “television” into “ ةزهجأ رتويبمكلا . 3.3 Issues of translation: 3.3.1 Addition: Addition is a translation strategy which involves adding information not present explicitly or implicitly in the ST. The addition appears more than omission in the translations. As Punga (2016, p.115) said, addition makes a balance in the process of translation instead of omission.’ According to Sharma (2015, p.6), ‘the translator is forced to use the addition

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
