federal bureau to plan specific irrigation works - The service was under a lot of pressure, and once the mayor of  L.A. derailed an irrigation project to from its original destination to  go to his city - Roosevelt backed Pinchot’s multi-use program and set aside 20  mil acres of public land  (85 mil in Alaska) as national forests,  mineral reserves, and potential water-power sites - In 1907 the Congress rescinded the president’s authority to  create national forests in 6 timber states, but only after Roosevelt  made 21 new national forests with 16 mil acres in 6 states - From 1872, 13 national parks were created by 1916, with no  overall management

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
