Male: 86.9% Female: 86.9% What is the life expectancy? Male: 73.84 years Female: 79.63 years What is the governing structure? (May be helpful to diagram) In the executive branch, the president serves two roles as chief of state and head of the government. There is no vice president. The cabinet is appointed by the president. In the legislative branch, there are two houses. One is the senate in which a majority of the members are chosen by popular vote and the remainder are allocated by parties. Another is the Chamber of Deputies in which majority is chosen by popular vote and the remainder is chosen by party’s popular vote. In the judicial branch, there is the Supreme Court. Does the state have a Constitution? If so, when was it out in place and how often is it ratified? Yes, it was adopted in1917. It has been ratified four times. What are the major political parties? Citizen's Movement, Institutional Revolutionary Party, Labor Party, Mexican Green Ecological Party, or PVEM, National Action Party, or PAN, New Alliance Party, or PNA/PANAL, Party of the Democratic Revolution, or PRD are the major political parties.
