realized that this also was a discrimination act. During the last few decades, the discrimination against the disability individuals has been more visible to the American public and the government. The disability rights movement have worked hard to show politicians and all the country the injustices that the people with some disabilities had faced. One of these injustices were lack of education and unemployment. As a result of prejudices and social barriers, people with disabilities had to experience economic and social problems. These problems were not a result of their disabilities but instead was a consequence of the way the country looked at them. People will disabilities have the right to work, to study, to make their own decisions, and also the right to interact with their community as a part of them. “Together, we must remove the physical barriers we have created and the social barriers that we have accepted.
