The United Statesmaintains the fact that groups and cultures deserve the right to uphold their views of theircommunity cultures and speech considering these cultures and speech do not battle with theprinciples of the country. If Talia knew the importance of diversity within cultures and thebackground of her culture she just might take pride in it. If her dad had taught her the culture andmaybe about her ancestors, she would be able to stand firm in her identity.After examination of Talia’s culture and culture identity, I recommended interventionplans to assist her with resolving her conflict which will improve her self-esteem. First, I willencourage Talia to reach out to her father and ask him to educate her on the Asian culture as wellas her ancestors. Her dad has the ability to break the cycle of failure by being supportive of herwillingness of wanting to know her culture and promoting Talia’s self-esteem growth.
