today. Walmart’s vision statement illustrates the bond that they are forming with its customers. This behavior helps out tremendously. Customer service and customer satisfaction are always on the agenda of a business. Walmart is like no other retail store. However, everything that glitters isn’t always gold. I say this because at one-point Walmart had to realize that they would soon need a vision statement for their employees as well. Walmart announced employee pay wages would increase to a minimum of $9 an hour, which will put Wal-Mart’s lowest salaries 24% above than the $7.25 federal minimum wage. ( Tabuchi, H. (2019). This is one way that Walmart proved that their employees mattered to them. Soon after Walmart increased their pay, they received an increase in production and performance. Mission Walmart’s mission statement is “to save people money so they can live better.” This statement is a reflection of the idea of the found of Walmart, Sam Walton. The significance of such a selling point is exhibited in many of the company’s strategies. Walmart uses low prices as part of its marketing mix. Walmart most definitely fulfills the “save money” component of their mission statement through its low prices. Stakeholders

WEEK 3 ASSIGMENT 1 5 Stakeholder’s are an independent party with whom each of those who make a wager deposits the money or counters wagered. Walmart’s stakeholders influence the strategic direction of the company. Stakeholders are the people or groups that the business affects directly or indirectly. Therefore, the stakeholder’s must exert pressure on Walmart’s business to push the company to consider their interests. Walmart has many stakeholders.
