changes the view and action taken about it. Her use of logos includes defining terms throughout the piece to give better understanding of what is being highlighted and so there is no room for error in interpretation. She also uses specific examples throughout the piece to support her ideas for a more enchanting Anthropocene. An example is “Aesthetic and cultural elements include green roofing, community forests and orchards, edible landscaping, living courtyards, green utility corridors, pocket parks, vertical gardens, bird-friendly buildings, and so on, which make visible the ecosystems within, and blend art and craft on the part of citizens to form relationships.” She also states necessary information clearly for the readers to understand and then uses them to develop her point further, an example is “Art and craft are innately human ways of shaping worlds, and a charming Anthropocene would incorporate these approaches into earth-shaping processes”. In these examples of logos , Buck states a fact or definition and then makes a logical claim based on that fact. By doing this Buck attempts to persuade her audience to look at the Anthropocene from a different angle and take action to make the anthropocene liveable.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
