evidence/examples that contradicts the supportive arguments of imperialism Kipling gave in his original poem The White Man’s Burden. Poem Title: The Black Man’s Burden by H.T. Johnson “‘Tis nearest at your door;/ why heed long bleeding Cuba,/ or drank Hawaii’s shore?”- there are problems right under their noses and the black men need to stand up for who their are instead of worrying about the everlasting cries of other nations. "Hail ye your fearless armies, / Which menace feeble folks / Who fight with clubs and arrows / And brook your rifle's smoke." -It is a call for war and standing up for themselves. They have been marginalized, violated, and culturally imperialized for long enough. It is time to get rid of the uninvited inferiors who changed life forever. “His wail with laughter drown/ you’ve sealed the red man’s problem,/ and will take up the brown, / in vain ye seek to end it,”- The Indian’s problems are solved but there is still so much to be done. The black man must think of themselves and even in vain must fight for their honor and a better life even if it is only brought down to generations “With bullets, bool and death/ better by far defend it/ with honor’s holy breath”- the black man need to stand up for themselves and regain their power even if it costs them their lives. They can no longer live under the prejudice of the white man and maintain their honor. The white man are described as greedy conquerors who will spread their influence and power at the cost of the natives lives.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
