Understanding Market ResearchApple biggest competitor is Samsung. Samsung came out with the Galaxy in 2010. Galaxy is a very much like Android that a lot of people enjoy using versus the Apple products. Cell phones have been around for a long time and it’s always some type of competition between different manufactures. Apple is by far the biggest and greatest manufacture. Samsung has delivered a phone that can finally rival the iPhone in terms of design, build-quality and materials used. From the front, the S6 could be mistaken for the S5 or even the S4. Closer inspection shows some big changes, though. The IPhone has gross over 51 billion dollars in 2015 and Samsung grossed over44 billion dollars. It clearly shows that most people favor Apple IPhone over Samsung android. Teenagers are considered one of Apple Inc.'s target markets. Teenagers have many reasons they use iPods. Some of these reasons are to connect with friends, listen to music and go on Facebook, twitter and places like that. There are also many gaming apps that appeal to them. They have become quite popular with teenagers.College and university students are also targeted market. These students use Apple products such as iPad's, MacBook's, iPhone's etc to quickly record notes. These help them keep their notesorganized in their devices. Also these are very light which makes carrying devices easier. Business people are very intrigued by Apple products. These devices are used to finish work efficiently and to communicate with clients easily. This also makes sending documents is easy and organized.Apple products are also useful to young children and kids. The reason for this is that devices are easy to use due to their touch screen quality which is good for children. Parents can download learning game apps on Apple devices to teach young children and kids. But children now and days knows how to do this already.7

Adults use iPhone's to for their everyday needs such as phone calls, map directions, internet connection, documents and cameras. Carryingthese small devices makes adults lives much easier for communicating daily. Also to keep on schedule with everyday events.To conclude, the world of Apple is an ever changing environment that is constantly facing new and interesting challenges that must be overcome in order to be the best in the electronic industry. Steve jobs, almost singled handily took on the other major cell phone designers to buildand promote a product that would far surpass that of any other technological group currently in the same market. This was mainly due to the extreme amount of marketing and also by the research that was conducted to determine the want in the market and also to determine which direction would be the best choice. 8
