I believe that if I as well as my church leaders had become skilled to do theology theSmith describes it that it will have a great influence on my life, ministry and church. For I know and understand that we as humans has errors in interpretation andtherefore we cannot always be sure we interpreted it the right way, we aredependent on the Holy Spirit to lead us. Also if we evaluate we need to revisitinterpretations, in order to test everything and approve those that is creditable. If wediscuss the topic and thoughts with other believers it will leave an impression on bothparties. Also in comparison between texts and idea may lead to new findings or evena greater understand.I believe if we use these guidelines it will not only change the way I or church leadersexperience God but it will leave a footprint in the lives of people we lead becausewe’ll live up to the Mandate, disciple – in other words, teach what you understandand explore within guidelines. I feel David captures the heart of theology: ‘You have said, “Seek my face.” My heartsays to you, “Your face, LORD, do I seek.”’ Psalm 27:8, Smith (2013).5
