One hugh factor also that stoped the African Americans from doing much was the Jim Crow Laws, which mainly separted the Whites fromthe Blacks during this time period, such as in they couldnt go to the same restrooms, different schools, different places to eat, and even different places to drink water from a fountain. Political Limitations: In the southern states there were many people that didnt like African Americans and want to stop them from certain basic rights that they should have, but didnt such as voting and even if they didnt listen to that law and still tryed they had to take a literacy test to see if they couldspell, read, and write, Which most of them failed. Then came the Klu Klux Klan which was created by people that didnt like African Americans and just wanted to Antagonize them just because of there skin color. The Klu Klux Klan mostly destroyed multiple things of African Americans, like schools, buildings, and even killed African Americans.Economic Limitations:

When the Civil War had ended it was time for the African Americans to come home, but when they did it was very hard for them to find employment. African Americans werent treated well in the busniess world, if a buisness started to fail. The African Americans would be the first people to get fired from that company or buisness. Over all African Americans were very much so discrimanated against when trying to find labor to be able to make money, but even so whites got jobs before any African American every did.
