Along with this, the price to have their own building would be significantly more than in Texas. Aside from all the negatives, if You Brew can put together a location and get their name out there, they can sure compete with other craft breweries. What would change? Moving You Brew from Texas to Milwaukee Wi, would bring along some changes. There systemof never creating the same beer twice would definitely benefit them as not many breweries do that. While looking at the You Brew financial summary, there are some costs that will have to be changed. Moving to a new city, marketing efforts will have to be increased significantly in order to get their brand name known. Within the first couple periods, You Brew may experience stages of net loss. This can be changed by not producing as much beer as they would in Texas. Something else that will change is the number of Brewpubs in their new location. With very few in Texas, this is an aspect that You Brew may have difficulty adjusting to. The use of premiumization is a consumer that You Brew will have to implement in their beginning stages. When focusing on fewer amount of people, the better. By following this trend, You Brew will be able to identify consumer needs more effectively. Overall, a lot of changes will be taken on as they move to one of the best beer cities in the U.S. Where else could YB model work? The YB model would work in cities that hold a lot of events. These event filled cities are very loyal to their local businesses. The support from a city and the local community help drive the businesses and their sales. With events being put on throughout the year, the sales of alcoholic drinks rise. With having YB in that type of location, the opportunity to sell specialty beers would increase.
Why? Having YB in these cities would introduce a new beer in a town or city that would like to open up new avenues for alcohol sales. Having events that pop up during the year also introduces the potential announcement of YB coming to their towns or cities. Is there a portion of the model that could work for your project? In the model for You Brew, the concept of crowdsourcing is something that could work for our project. We could implement crowdsourcing in a variety of different ways. One of the ways includes generating ideas from our customers on different types of possible 5k Runs we could do. Signing up and voting will guarantee you a spot for registration. This is something that wouldbenefit us as it did for You Brew. This will allow for our men's health initiative to generate money upfront, also we will be able to get an estimate on how many people are going to attend based on the number of people signed up. Another aspect of of the model that could work for ourproject would be social media. Social media is a great advertising tool without spending money for marketing activities. We could implement a variety of different social media accounts that allow customers to vote on different runs, and potentially a custom t-shirt for those that register. Facebook, Twitter, Instagram are pages that our men's health initiative can feature to help advertise.
