This is the first time that Boy D looks excited and eager to speak. Time: 3:45-4:00 Boy D’s brother asks him questions about different games. The boy shares his thoughts. Then the brothers proceed to decide what they want to do tonight. Boy D suggests to go to the Fun Spot because it was really fun last time they went. The boy’s older brother suggests playing golf afterwards, and Boy D replies, “Sure, whatever you guys want.” Boy D talks about PlayStation and explains what kind is the best. He moves on to talking about New Hampshire, where he used to live. His brother makes a comment about hyperthermia and that people get it in 30 seconds. The boy explains that it’s not true. He brings his laptop to his brother and shows something about airplanes. His brother makes comments and Boy D listens attentively and moderately participates in the conversation. Time 4:00-4:15 Boy D spends a lot of time conversing with his brother. He started the conversation with talking about Battlefield I. Then he transitions to the topic of the Civil War.
