At first, they thought the baby was dead but as the car warmed up, the baby began to move. They brought it back to their owners Meanwhile, son at home causes a fire under the house by using the torch. Makes a lot of smoke in the house while he tries to cover it up before his mom gets home. Finds out at the end that the father was a gambler. The parents got in an argument about the money situation and the mom accidently shot the dad in the foot. He stole all the money they had and ran away a week before Christmas Mom wants to do one more run to fix the hole in the house that her son accidently caused. Liyla at first didn’t want to but eventually agrees. They go through different people, he ends up shorting her $600. She pulls a gun and demands the other $600, as she gets it, the guy shoots the mom and clips her head. As they’re crossing the border, a state trooper goes to pull over the vehicle but the mom continues to speed up to get into the reservation Mom takes blame for smuggling, has to do 4 months in jail. She gives all of her money to Liyla to take care of her kids. Also so she can take care of her 1 year old at her house. The movie ends off on a good note as her two children are happy and Liyla and her baby get along with the two at the household.
