Such a colapse could be due to technical actors or mar et driven (psychological reasons). Systemic ris is reduced by the activities o both national and international regulatory authorities. The Ban actively suports these organi ations through its membership o relevant ban ing industry asociation i.e. Pa istan Ban s Asociation ("PBA"). The Ban also ta es acount o systemic ris by means o care ul management o counter party ris s in the inter-ban mar et. 42.7 Shariah Non-Complianc Ri Shariah Non-compliance ris arises due to the lac o awarenes amongst the sta while procesing a particular transaction which may result in reputational los to the Ban , as wel as, reversal o income o the Ban in respect o that transaction. This ris is covered by carying out extensive Shariah training and orientation and requent reviews by the Shariah department o the Ban . 43. RECENT ACCOUNTING DEVELOPMENTS A new series o standards caled "International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs)" has ben introduced and eight IFRSs have ben isued by the International Acounting Standards Board (IASB). Out o these, olowing our IFRSs have ben adopted by SECP vide its S.R.O. (I)/2 6 dated December 6, 2 6 which wil be e ective or acounting periods begining on or a ter the said date: (i) IFRS-2 "Share-based Payments"; (i) IFRS-3 "Busines Combinations"; (i) IFRS-5 "Non-curent Aset Held or Sale and Discontinued Operations"; and (iv) IFRS-6 "Exploration or and Evaluation o Mineral Resources". In adition, a ew International Acounting Standards (IASs) have ben amended by the IASB including IAS-1 "Presentation o Financial Statements" and a ew interpretations (IFRICs) have also ben isued. The Ban expects that the adoption o these pronouncements mentioned above wil have no signi icant impact on the Ban 's inancial statements in the period o initial aplication. 44. GENERAL The igures in the inancial statements are rounded o to the nearest thousand Rupes, unles otherwise stated. 45.
