The article I chose have influence my workplace as an educator as I believe every
person should be entitled to an education and every child, family and staff member are
treated equally and respected no matter their backgrounds, religion, beliefs, and
culture.
Assessment 4 Rights and Responsibilities of Workers
In your workplace, you find that one of the workers (Joe) is making racially and
religiously biased remarks about another staff member (Gemma). This has come to your
attention as Gemma is very upset but feels unable to speak to the Manager. When asked
why they have not spoken to the manager or the person the response was that Gemma
viewed them as a friend and feared for her job.
