leader, I will allow other individuals to teach or advise me. Consequently, I will acquire skills such as how to effectively engage in negotiations with other stakeholders. Another major role that I will be playing in the firm is to ensure that patients are satisfied. As a competent leader, I will understand all the rights of the patients and how to handle them. I will advise other workers to provide relevant information to the customers while paying attention to feedback. Gaining proficiency in communication will enable me to deal with any kind of patients in the organizations. Sometimes difficult patients are brought to the hospital, and it requires special skills to handle them. Such patients may be those who are brought unwillingly by their family members. My efficient communication will also help me to prevent mistakes and ensure that I provide an accurate diagnosis. Patients will be willing to provide all the information about their conditions. Lastly, good communication will help in providing patient safety.

HUMAN RESOURCES COMPETENCIES 6 Conclusion Excellent leaders and communicators promote the growth of any firm. Leaders influence decision making processes in companies and therefore they need to have the required skills. Communication plays a major role in preventing mistakes and promoting satisfaction in any organization. Gaining competency in the two will help me to contribute to organizational excellence.
