how there is still a vast amount of violence in present day society ,as well. For example, in the same novel it states "Diana Moon Glampers loaded the gun again. She aimed it at the musicians and told them they had ten seconds to get their handicaps back on. In this dystopia the author illustrated that guns are still present and are still being used by goverment bodies. Present day society opperates in the same way, if a resident has broken the law and is refusing to coaperate police officers have the option to pull out their gun and possibly shoot the criminal. Consequently, in another novel named "Fahrenheit 451" it refrences animal brawling, but in it's turistic way. It explains that when the fire men get bored they will activate a mechanical hound and watch it defeat and often kill other living animals. By the same token, today many people still brawl animals like roosters and dogs, even though it may seem cruel and unjust. Overall, these dystopian socities have appeared to ske inspiration from the present world. Therefore, they have many similarities to todays society. In conclusion, dystopian socities take many aspects of preset day scoiety. For instance, there is still a mass amount of violence in those worlds. The dystopian societies have guns and animal fighting just as humans do today. Also, people in the dystopian world are still unhappy similar to how a handful of current day resdients are unhappy with their lives. Even though, these socities have some aspects of the real world, it does not make them real. Dystopian socities have an array of diffrences from the current world. One being, the amount of goverment control infoced on the residents, unlike the vast amounts of freedom people of the present world are given. Additionally, the dystopian worlds protrayed in novels are often written as technological paradises. Mos tof the technology found in the novels do not exist currently. Moreover, the punishment issued to the citizens of dystopian socities is more painful and cruel, while the punishment presently today is not as aggressive. In summary, dystopian worlds are fictional and differ from the real world vastly, but they still share some aspects and similarties with the current world.
