Since I am currently working on my masters in accounting, the part where the author talked about accounting professionals stuck out to me. She states that "It has been found that up to 80% of work time is actually spent in communication rather than in working with numbers" (Weinclaw, 2013). Although I have had little hands on experience in the accounting field, the accountants that I have talked to have made it clear that having strong interpersonal and communicative skills are pertinent when conducting business with a client.
