Task B - Plan and develop marketing communication brief B1. THE SCENARIO: You now need to confirm marketing communication requirements with your client, Tee Shirty. Set up a meeting with: You, acting as the Marketing Manager at an agency whose client is Tee Shirty The Marketing Director at Tee Shirty, as role played by another student in your unit NOTE: Your Trainer & Assessor will also observe this meeting. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO BEFORE YOUR MEETING: Organise a day and time for your meeting, in line with the availability of other students in your unit as well as your Trainer & Assessor. This meeting should take no more than 10 minutes. You are required to lead the meeting and should prepare as necessary. Prior to the meeting, review the information on Tee Shirty outlined in the “BSBMKG523 Case study information” document provided on Moodle and obtain client and product information. WHAT YOU NEED TO DO DURING YOUR MEETING: Use the meeting to: Discuss and confirm marketing communication purpose and objectives Review outcomes of previous marketing communication with the client Confirm budget allocation between media and creative Obtain further client and product information as needed Ensure you take note of what you discuss during the meeting.
