Eukaryotic cells are defined as a cell containing a nucleus surrounded by complex
membrane that has multiple rod-shaped chromosomes (Parker, Schneegurt, Tu,
Forster, & Lister, 2018).
Both are similar in the fact that they both contain nucleic acids, lipids, carbohydrates,
and proteins. They both depend on chemical reactions to build proteins and
metabolize (Parker, Schneegurt, Tu, Forster, & Lister, 2018).
They differ in the fact that the prokaryotic cells lacks a nucleus, and the eukaryotic
cell has a nucleus. They also differ in size, with the eukaryotic cell being larger
(Parker, Schneegurt, Tu, Forster, & Lister, 2018).
