The Family Plan Being able to have Sam’s children come around and help him is crucial to the social side, but also having the children, especially Susan, not feeling overwhelmed with taking care of him. Sam should hire a caretake to come in 3 days a week for 4 hours to help him with basic housecleaning and meal prepping. Susan needs to talk with each of her siblings and explain that she is overwhelmed and they need to start helping out. All they would each need to help would be one day a week, if Sam hires a caretaker 3 days a week, that would have someone at the house with him everyday. Have Sam start looking into some programs for seniors that allow him to get out of his house and be around other people his age. Setting up the house for ease of access as Sam has a hard time seeing
