1. While Kindle version is more affordable ($34.29), it does not zoom the images, (at least on the Mac computer). iBooks is more expensive ($44.99) but the images do zoom. 2. The companion website for the book is: ohailey-9780240820798/ 2. A membership with CG Cookie (for Blender training) is recommended but not required. 3. A lynda.com membership is also recommended for both Maya and Blender, but mostly Maya. 4. Various articles provided by professor. 5. Dropbox account and Flash/USB Drive or external drive (20 GB minimum required). For animators and any work involving video and audio (us!) a 20 GB is small. I recommend no less than 500 GB. Do yourself a favor and get a portable Seagate or Lacie with rubber covers, WD are notorious for braking when you least expect them to. Absenteeism More than two unexcused absences will result in a final grade being lowered by one letter grade. Excused absences are defined as absences due to documented illnesses or deaths of close family members. Vacations, scheduled doctor visits, family reunions, week-long getaways, forgetting the semester has already begun or that we are meeting for class, and other personal reasons do not count as excused absences. Students need to be in class on the days indicated in the Course Schedule. No exceptions. If students miss more than two weeks in a row, for any reason, he or she will be asked to drop the course and retake it when the student is better able to participate. University Policies 1. Academic Integrity: Academic integrity is the cornerstone of the university and will be strongly enforced in this course. As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
