evidence of literature searching skills directed toward the chosen case study topic must be submitted electronically by October 11. Students are encouraged to meet with the instructor or teaching assistant at least a couple of times before the completion of the case study for guidance on resources for, and organization of, the problem that will enable the preparation of a case study that will be rewarding. The case study should contain a balance of discussion and documentation of the environmental issue being addressed as well as discussion of molecular approaches used in better defining or solving the environmental problem. A tentative outline (about 2 pages) of the case study that provides evidence of extensive literature review and analysis must be submitted by November 8 . The final report (10-15 pages, double spaced) is due at the time of the final examination . The written report should contain appropriate figures and/or tables to help document the story and all pertinent literature should be cited in a standard scientific format such as that used by Applied and Environmental Microbiology (see detailed discussion of evaluation criteria and citation formatting etc. to be provided separately).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
