the Nationalists turned to attack the Communists instead of Japanese. I would be disappointed with the Nationalists. On the other hand, the communist held whole different ideas towards the Nationalists. The Zunyi conference confirmed Mao Zedong as a prime leader of the Communists and he mentioned the importance of the Mass Line and anti-Japanese war. What the Communists did was correct and justice. But I still would not join the Communists not only because the harsh environment they lived, but also the unpredictable future of the party. Although the Long March succeeded, but it costed too much. Many soldiers either be killed by KMT army or died because of the tough trip. It was true that the Communists had ambition, but firstly, I had to evaluate the possibility for them to success. However, as I mentioned before, I dedicated to save the country, which means I may quit the Nationalists. Under such conditions, I would not join any of parties. Maybe I would be a person like Lu, Xun, who dedicated to save the country by using my pen and writing skill. During late 1930s, I did not really care which party I belonged to. The Nationalists and the Communists cooperated again to fight against Japanese. No matter what their belief were (capitalism or communism), it was not important at all.
