Cyberstalking Online harassments – harassing emails, instant messages, etc. Online blackmailing – sending threatening emails, lewd contents, etc. Social networking – creating false profile impersonating someone, hacking into accounts, etc. Cyber Threats Botnets – collection of malicious software bots that infects through spam emails, etc. controlled by hackers. Malware – software methods that infects your system with trojans, worms, viruses, trojans, spyware, and adware. Pharming/Phishing – a website lookalike to obtain your information like your login and passwords to certain websites. Ransomware NotPetya – Ukranian software masquerading as tax software update infecting hundreds of thousands computers in different countries in matter of days. WannaCrypt – One of the most devastating software that has crippled law enforcements, banks, etc. Cerber – ransomware-as-a-service to allow non-technical cybercriminals to extort money from victims and the services getting a cut from the extortion.
